Sex & Sexuality

This section is the operational sexual-functioning and sex-education layer of the wiki. It covers what to do with the body you have, how it works on HRT, how it works post-surgery, and how to have sex with it — alone and with partners. The voice is clinical and frank, matching Long-Term Care → Sexual Health Long-Term; this is not a sex-positive lifestyle resource and not erotica. It is reference material for adults navigating real anatomical, hormonal, and relational questions.

The section sits next to four existing layers and does not duplicate them:

Layer Lives in Owns
Medical-monitoring (long-arc dysfunction, dyspareunia, atrophy) Long-Term Care → Sexual Health Long-Term What to screen, what to treat, when to escalate
Individual-relationship (disclosure, partner adjustment, breakups) Mental Health → Coming Out & Relationships How relationships survive transition
Community-ecosystem (where you meet people, chasers, app categories) Community → Dating & Partner Community Where dating happens and who is in the pool
Surgical/procedural (technique, dilation regimen, clearance windows) Surgery → SRS What was built and how to heal it
Operational sexual-functioning + sex education (this section) sex-sexuality/ What to do with the body you have, and how it works

Audience

This section assumes you are sexually active or considering becoming sexually active and want practical, frank information about how trans-feminine bodies work — alone and with partners. It is calibrated for adults; pediatric and adolescent sexuality is out of scope. New transitioners may want to read HRT first; sexual-functioning content keeps better when you have a hormonal baseline.
